ICE TV CELEBRATES UROTSUKIDOJI AS “CULT S#!T”

New York, NY (April 7, 2006) - Leading North American mature anime publisher A18 Corporation’s cult hit Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend has been recognized by VH1’s Ice TV: The Cult S#!t for being just that -- “The Cult S#!t.”  Ice T, a hip-hop and rap icon and current star of the television police drama Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, will host Ice TV, which is premiering this Saturday.  On Ice TV, Ice T will explore his personal favorite underground pop culture gems, from Kung Fu movies and Mexican wrestling to mind-blowing anime like Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend.  Ice TV will explain why modern day pop culture enthusiasts need to know these gems to be cool.

Ice TV will feature the groundbreaking erotic film Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend by legendary creator Toshio Maeda on its April 8th premiere airing at 11 PM EST.

About Urotsukidoji:
According to legend, every 3,000 years, the three realms of demons, humans, and man-beasts are united by the revival of a being more powerful than them all – the Overfiend.  Determined to find the Overfiend, demons scour the human world for signs of his coming. Two such creatures, Amano Jyaku and his sister Megumi, have tracked the Overfiend to an unlikely place, Myojin University in Japan.
