NAMCO BANDAI GAMES ANNOUNCES XENOSAGA® EPISODE III FOR THE PLAYSTATION®2

The wait is over for Xenosaga fans as the exciting conclusion to the popular RPG series will make its debut on the PlayStation®2 this Fall

SANTA CLARA, Calif., (April 13, 2006) – Leading video games publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that Xenosaga® EPISODE III: Also sprach Zarathustra, the final chapter in its epic RPG series, plans to make its way to the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system in Fall 2006.  As Shion, uncover the future of mankind in a journey to unveil the Gnosis phenomenon and save the galaxy in this exciting conclusion to the Xenosaga trilogy.

The story of Xenosaga III starts a year after Xenosaga II ended.  Shion has resigned from Vector Industries after learning that the company is deeply connected to the appearance of the Gnosis.  She instead joins Scientia, an underground organization working to unveil Vector’s secrets in order to bring them down.  Uncover the truth and save mankind in the exciting finale of the Xenosaga series launching onto store shelves later this year on the PlayStation 2.

Xenosaga III’s final engrossing chapter boasts over 3 hours of movies, an updated battle system, and an improved customization feature with more in-depth character specialization and diversification and higher rewards for strategic party management.   This must-have RPG will also include an easily accessible database feature, the “Xeno Bible” and a mini-game with over 50 levels that will challenge both you and your friends.
