Walt Disney Home Entertainment Closes Release Window After 70 Days

BURBANK, Calif., April 14, 2006 – Just a few days remain before Walt Disney Home Entertainment closes the release window for the extraordinary Disney DVD BAMBI II. Beginning April 18, 2006, the much-heralded sequel to Walt Disney’s timeless classic, along with its wealth of entertaining bonus features, enters the Studios’ moratorium vault. Having already flocked to the must-own release, audiences have made BAMBI II the top-selling DVD premiere of 2006. In tribute to the 70th anniversary of the inception of Walt Disney’s animated classic, BAMBI, the Studio will place BAMBI II under moratorium just 70 days after its street date.

Disney fans of all ages have a limited time to reunite with the original film’s beloved characters, and be introduced to the special, new members of Bambi’s forest.
