“NEGADON: THE MONSTER FROM MARS” LANDS ON RETAIL SHELVES JULY 11th

Award Winning CG Film To Be Released On DVD And Priced At Only $19.95 SRP

NEW YORK, NY (April 27, 2006)  Central Park Media announced the much anticipated DVD release of Negadon: The Monster From Mars, the world’s first completely computer-generated monster movie.  Directed by Jun Awazu from his original script and rendered in staggeringly realistic computer graphics, Negadon: The Monster From Mars pays homage to a wide variety of 1950's and 60's Japanese monster movies such as Godzilla and Mothra.  This film, which was almost 3 years in the making, won the Outstanding Production Award at the 2006 Digital Contents Grand Prix and was named a Jury Recommended Work at the 2006 Japan Media Arts Festival. 

The Negadon DVD, which will be priced at $19.95 SRP, will be loaded with many bonus features including an interview with Director Jun Awazu, the Making of Negadon: The Monster from Mars featurette, two short films by Mr. Awazu, and digital liner notes.  In addition, a replica newspaper identical to the one included in the original Japanese release will be inserted into each DVD case.  

A special Negadon pre-order promotion will be available to all consumers who visit the Negadon website at negadonattacks.com by July 11, 2006.  Consumers who pre-order both Negadon: The Monster From Mars and the award winning Kakurenbo for just $29.95 SRP will save $10.00.  In addition, consumers may pre-order only Negadon: The Monster From Mars for $19.95 SRP.

The order date for Negadon DVD will be June 13, 2006, the street date will be July 11, 2006, and the disc will contain English and Japanese language tracks with English subtitles.
