ILLUMITOON ACQUIRES AM DRIVER

51-Episode Series Marks Second Acquisition for New Company

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—FORT WORTH, TEXAS— Illumitoon Entertainment, Ltd. announced that it has licensed GET RIDE! AM DRIVER for release in the US. The series is an action-adventure drama that focuses on the exploits of a young group of warriors, known as AM Drivers, as they battle a dominating empire of machines. The series was developed by ADK, and is backed by Japanese toy company Konami.

“We’re thrilled to add this very exciting series to our US launch,” says Barry Watson, the CEO/President of Illumitoon. “ It combines ultramodern, futuristic technology with engaging excitement.” The series was produced in 2004 in Japan and features 51 half-hour episodes. US release of the series is anticipated for early 2007.

The acquisition follows Illumitoon’s announcement of its license for Toei Animation’s popular series “Beet the Vandel Buster”. Illumitoon was founded in January of this year by three former executives from FUNimation and has focused on acquiring popular anime content while repositioning them for maximum accessibility in the US.
