Storefront highlights boys’ love anime, manga & more!

GRIMES, IA, February 28, 2008 – Anime producer and distributor Right Stuf, Inc. continues its 20th anniversary celebration with the launch of YaoiAnime.com (http://www.yaoianime.com), a new “boutique” powered by the RightStuf.com anime superstore that showcases boys’ love anime, manga and merchandise.

The new storefront includes “feature item” picks, as well as lists of “top sellers” that are updated on a weekly basis. The Japanese word “yaoi” has evolved into a catch-all term Western audiences often use to describe titles with canon “male/male” relationships that were also originally marketed to girls and women in Japan and Korea.

The dramatic increase of interest in these titles served as a starting point for the project, said Right Stuf President and C.E.O. Shawne Kleckner. “When we re-launched RightStuf.com, we received an incredibly positive response to the fact we broke out and highlighted this specific sub-genre.” Kleckner continued, “We had been exploring ways to better serve the yaoi fans who shop with us, and YaoiAnime.com lets us do this in a way that is colorful, fun and timely.”
