that New
International
Track and
Field will
be released
in North
America this
summer for
the Nintendo
DS™.
Celebrating
its 25th
Anniversary,
this classic
sports game
has been
updated with
a bright and
stylish new
look, a
wealth of
competitive
events plus
online play.
Players can
choose from
more than 15
characters
including
some known
Konami video
game
franchises
such as
Rumble Roses
Silent Hill,
Rocket
Knight
Adventures
and Frogger.
The game
also
includes two
new secret
unlockable
characters
that can be
used in both
single play
as well as
online.
New
International
Track and
Field is a
truly
Olympian
experience,
with more
than 20
athletic
challenges
to face,
including
the 100
meter dash,
pole vault,
high jump,
archery and
even
throwing the
javelin. As
your athlete
progresses
in the game,
it can be
customized
with new
equipment,
outfits,
animations
and other
cool items.
Each athlete
also has a
"Challenge
Event" that
will test
player
skills in
unique and
entertaining
ways. New
International
Track and
Field also
incorporates
a unique
Voice Boost
feature;
using the
microphone
on the
Nintendo DS,
players can
give their
character a
performance
boost by
cheering
them on. The
louder you
are, the
bigger the
boost!
When you

ready to
challenge
the world's
best,
players can
take
advantage of
a massive
online
feature set,
including
four player
game
sharing,
worldwide
rankings and
online
tournaments.
