TEKKEN® DARK RESURRECTION RECEIVES HIGHEST HONORS AT E3 2006

The new fighter on the PSP® system from the highly acclaimed TEKKEN® series cleans up at E3 2006 winning multiple accolades and awards.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., (June 19, 2006) – Leading video games publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. today announced that its highly anticipated fighting title, TEKKEN® Dark Resurrection, exclusively on the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, packed a powerful punch when it debuted at E3 2006 as it took home some of E3’s highest honors including a nomination for best fighting game by the coveted Game Critics Awards and the top prize for Game Spot’s E3 2006, “Best Fighting Game” and “Best PSP Game” awards.

Blowing other fighting games out of the water at E3 2006 with its superior control, pristine graphics, and impressive scope of moves for each character, TEKKEN Dark Resurrection, came out a clear winner during E3 2006.  IGN bestowed its “Best PSP Fighting Game” award on the title, commenting “…there are so many attacks available per character it's ridiculous…and the quality of the visuals is among the highest of any PSP title yet released. ’Anticipation’ doesn't even begin to describe our feelings in the least.”
