ImaginAsian TV Secures Additional Carriage with Charter Communications Nation’s First 24/7 Asian American Television Network to Premiereon Channel 143 of Charter Communications’ Inland Empire System on March 15th LOS ANGELES/NEW YORK, MARCH 15, 2006 — ImaginAsian Entertainment, Inc., today announced that ImaginAsian TV (iaTV), America’s first 24/7 Asian American television network, will premiere on Charter Communications Inc.’s (Nasdaq: CHTR) Inland Empire cable system. Beginning March 15, the network will be carried on Channel 143 of the system’s Family and Information tier, bringing top pan-Asian programming to digital homes throughout the Inland Empire, High Desert, and Mountain Communities in California. “ImaginAsian TV looks forward to bringing pan-Asian programming to the Asian and non-Asian communities in the Inland Empire area of Southern California,” said Anil Srivatsa, EVP of affiliate sales and new business development for ImaginAsian TV. “We have enjoyed our relationship with Charter Communications – having launched on its San Gabriel Valley system last October – and look forward to working with the system to bring Asian culture to the local community.” Since its on-air launch in August 2004, iaTV has brought the finest programs from Asia to the U.S., including anime, hit drama series, blockbuster films, documentaries, music, sports, variety programs and more from Korea, Japan, India, Hong Kong, China, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam.
