ATARI SHIPS DRAGON BALL Z(R) SHIN BUDOKAI(TM): ANOTHER ROAD

Hard-Hitting DBZ(R) Action-Fighting Game for PSP(R) System Ships to Retailers

NEW YORK, March 20, 2007 - Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR) one of the world's most recognized brands and a third-party video game publisher, today announced that Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road for the PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) system has shipped to retailers across North America. The immensely popular Dragon Ball Z series is the gold standard of anime-based video games, with more than 25 different games and over 10 million units sold since May 2002. Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road, the latest must-have DBZ® chapter, is rated T for Teen and will be available for a suggested price of $39.95.

Developed by NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. / Dimps, Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road takes the intense wireless multiplayer battles and thrilling combative gameplay made popular in last year's number one-selling fighting game on the PSP® system and offers exciting new features and an all-new story arc. With counter-attacks, super high-speed bouts, flight and Ki energy management, gamers are equipped to experience the unique story following the future world of Trunks on his adventures against rival Majin Buu as well as relive the best Dragon Ball Z and GT battles.

"After the success of Shin Budokai, we are excited to deliver a sequel that pushes the experience to the next level," said Emily Anadu, product manager, Atari, Inc. "We are particularly excited to present the future world of Trunks, a story line that has never been explored in the DBZ mythology. In addition to the all new story line, the original gameplay from last year's Shin Budokai has been elevated with improved cinematic camera angles, a superior fighting system, and over 50 additional fighting skills and ultimate attacks."

Using a portable ad-hoc network, Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road allows explosive wireless two-player battles with 25 playable characters that feature transformation capabilities. With the improved fighting system and high-speed ad-hoc battles, Dragon Ball fans can enjoy in single-player or multi-player modes the expansive universe of Dragon Ball Z.
