Month Long Tour Provides Hands On Opportunity For Consumers To Play Konami’s Latest Music Games

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – October 26, 2005 - Konami Digital Entertainment – America, a division of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., today announced that the company will be taking the latest versions of its popular music franchises – Karaoke Revolution® and Dance Dance Revolution® – on the road to malls across the country. The mall tour begins in Los Angeles and will make stops at 15 major malls in five states including California, Texas, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Illinois through November 20 (see below for a complete schedule).

“The best way to show off the fun and excitement of these two beloved games to potential new customers is to give them the chance to play them,” said Jason Enos, Product Manager, Konami Digital Entertainment - America. “It is clear to us that once consumers have the opportunity to experience the unique gameplay these products have to offer, they will be hooked on Dance Dance Revolution and Karaoke Revolution. Taking them on a mall tour is an excellent way for us to increase awareness and exposure of both brands to a mass consumer audience.”

Konami will have one dedicated kiosk for each of its latest music game releases – Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME™2 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system (available now), Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX®3 for the Xbox® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft (scheduled for release on November 15th) and Karaoke Revolution® Party for the PlayStation 2 (scheduled for release on November 8th and will also be available for Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube™). People will be able to sign up and register to participate in daily competitions or to perform karaoke in front of an audience. About Dance Dance Revolution

The original arcade game made its debut in Japan in October 1998 and quickly became the number-one gaming craze in the country. The first game console version of the game was released in Japan in April 1999 for the PlayStation® game console and sold more than three million units cumulatively. DDR hit the U.S. arcades that next year, and in March 2001, Konami introduced Dance Dance Revolution for the PlayStation game console, which developed a massive fan base. Subsequent releases in the U.S. include Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix and Dance Dance Revolution KONAMIX®, released for the PlayStation game console, DDRMAX Dance Dance Revolution®, DDRMAX2 Dance Dance Revolution and Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME™ released for the PlayStation 2, and Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX® and Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX® 2, released for the Xbox. In January 2005, cumulative worldwide sales of the Dance Dance Revolution series had exceeded 7.5 million units.

About Karaoke Revolution

Karaoke Revolution has been praised for its innovation, superb gameplay and sheer enjoyment as a party game for all ages. Critical acclaim for the game reached multi-platinum status when Time Magazine hailed it as the best game of 2003. Converting the video game console into the ultimate karaoke party machine, the series gives players the opportunity to flaunt their singing abilities in the comfort of their own living rooms. Karaoke Revolution is also the first game to rate players on their pitch and rhythm. The latest title, Karaoke Revolution Party, takes the experience one step further by incorporating its DDR technology into the game to provide the first-ever “Sing & Dance” mode. Karaoke Revolution is developed by leading music video game creator Harmonix Music Systems (http://www.harmonixmusic.com).
