MONDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2006 – Midway today announced that Ultimate Mortal Kombat® 3 is now available for Xbox Live® Arcade for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on Xbox Live Arcade brings back the legendary MK arcade experience to the next generation systems, along with the classic cast of fighters and the gruesome MK fatalities that made 1995 the birth year for one of the most popular fighting games ever.

Players can choose from 22 fighters with unique abilities
Fatalities, Brutalities, Friendships and Babalities
2–v–2 Kombat Mode
Tons of environments including: Scorpion's Lair, Jade's Desert, Kahn's Kave, River Kombat, Noob's Dorfen and many more
Each character has his/her own good or evil motives yet they share a common goal: To Destroy Shao Kahn
New and exciting "Challenger Versus" mode which allows up to 4 players to compete in a "winner–stays–on" style challenge system
