mtvU’S “GAME0RZ BALL TOUR ‘06” HITS THE ROAD IN SEARCH OF THE BEST GAMERS ON CAMPUS

Ten-Stop Tour to Bring Tournaments, Unreleased Games and
Giveaways to College Campuses Beginning October 26th

New York, NY – October 24, 2006 - mtvU, MTV’s 24-hour college network, today announced dates and campuses for “Game0RZ Ball Tour ‘06.” The ten date trek will hit colleges and universities across the southeast this fall, giving students the chance to play highly anticipated unreleased games, check out new music, score cool free stuff and battle with top gamers on campus for bragging rights and great prizes. One lucky student will also win a free XBOX® 360 at every stop on the tour, which kicks off October 26th at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY.

Students of all skill levels will be able to participate in a variety of competitions, activities and get a sneak peek of soon-to-be released titles including “WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw,” “Tony Hawk’s Project 8,” and the BURGER KING® XBOX® 360 games “Big Bumpin’,” “PocketBike Racer,” and “Sneak King.” Other hot titles such as “Saint’s Row,” “Splinter Cell,” and “Test Drive Unlimited” will also be featured. The following tournaments will be presented at every stop on the tour:

· Madden NFL ’07 Tournament – winner to receive copy of “Madden NFL ’07” for XBOX 360 and an Amp’d Mobile prize pack.
· WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw Tournament – winner to receive a copy of unreleased “WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw” for XBOX 360.
· Dance Dance Revolution Tournament – winner to receive a copy of “Dance Dance Revolution – Ultramix 3” XBOX game.
· PocketBike Racer Tournament – winner to receive BURGER KING prize pack including all three unreleased BURGER KING XBOX 360 games.
· Test Drive Unlimited Tournament – winner to receive a copy of “Test Drive Unlimited” for XBOX 360.

Four* tour stops will feature live “Play with the Pros” online gaming events where students will have the opportunity to chat and play “Counter-Strike: Source” with some of the best pro-gamers in the world via Xfire™ – a free tool that tracks when and where gamers are playing PC games online and lets them find and join their friends easily (www.xfire.com). Top participants can also win a copy of PC-based “Counter-Strike: Source.”

Those that can’t make it to one of the tour’s stops can visit mtvU.com to check out student-developed online games, get gaming tips and enter for a chance to win an XBOX 360. Additionally, beginning Monday, November 13th, mtvU and mtvU.com will debut “GameORZ Week,” with top gamers, Machinima and other gaming-related surprises taking over the channel.
