GAMETRAILERS AND VETERAN GAMES JOURNALIST GEOFF KEIGHLEY TEAM UP TO PRESENT “BONUS ROUND”

New Original Series To Debate Hot Issues With Industry Insiders
Beginning Tuesday, October 31 on GT

Santa Monica, Calif. (October 30, 2006) -- GameTrailers (GT), a division of Viacom Inc.’s (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B) MTV Networks, today announced “Bonus Round,” a new original series moderated by respected video game journalist Geoff Keighley. The show will bring together top industry figures to debate hot-button, industry-wide issues. The roundtable discussion will offer rapid fire, candid and timely discourse on the state of gaming from the people who know the business best.

“Not only is Geoff an industry icon and one of today’s leading game journalists, he is also one of the most prolific in front of the camera,” said Shane Satterfield, Editor-in-Chief of GameTrailers. “With ‘Bonus Round,’ we will work closely with Geoff to explore relevant topics that get at the heart of major game industry issues.”

Shot on GT’s’ new sound stage at MTV’s Santa Monica headquarters, “Bonus Round” will tackle topical issues and bring together a line-up of premier industry experts. Offering a truly interactive experience for its viewers, “Bonus Round” will also feature flash-based expandable menus that provide background information on the industry panelists and the topics being featured in each episode. “Bonus Round” will be broadcast on GameTrailers.com as well as GT’s vast distribution network. Select segments will also be broadcast as part of GT’s “TWITCH“ on MTV2.

The first “Bonus Round,” premiering on Tuesday, October 31, will tackle the next-generation console war by asking the question: “Can the PlayStation 3 Maintain Sony’s Market Dominance?” Debating the topic with Keighley will be two powerhouse game designers: Grant Collier, President of Infinity Ward, developers of the best-selling Xbox 360 game Call of Duty 2, and Jason Rubin, co-founder of Naughty Dog and co-creator of the hit PlayStation franchises Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter. Also weighing in on the issue will be outspoken video game industry analyst Michael Pachter from Wedbush Morgan Securities.

“I’ve been covering video games for half my life,” said Keighley. “‘Bonus Round’ is the perfect opportunity to create a platform for intelligent, thoughtful conversation that will take viewers inside the minds of our industry’s greatest thinkers. I can’t wait to moderate what I know will be insightful and memorable discussions about the issues that matter most to gamers.”

Currently serving as host of the weekly SPIKE video game series “Game Head,” as well as contributing writer to Entertainment Weekly and Business 2.0., Geoff Keighley brings a wealth of experience and credibility to “Bonus Round.” Named one of the 30 best business journalists under 30 by NewsBios.com, Keighley is also a columnist for both Official Xbox Magazine and GameFly.com.

Tune in to the premiere of “Bonus Round” on Tuesday, October 31 on GT.
