anime series ever. Originally aired in Japan as three
separate anime series, what became known as Robotech was
woven together by Carl Macek for Harmony Gold and soon
became a staple of syndicated kids programming. Robotech is
credited with laying the groundwork for today’s anime market
in America.

disparate series in order to chronicle a multi-generational
war between the Earth's Robotech Defense Force and the
otherworldly Robotech Masters…" MTV.Com
In 2002 ADV Films issued Robotech Remastered, featuring
digitally restored video and 5.1 stereo sound, introducing a
whole new generation to this anime classic. Robotech
Protoculture collects the Remastered disks as well as the
Robotech Legacy disks containing definitive commentary and
other extras.
