Chris Adler (Lamb of God) ­currently breaking double bass speed records on Gigantour by touring the US this fall……Will then head off with his brothers in Lamb Of God for a first ever tour in Australia; then Japan, and on to slay in Europe. “Sacrament” (Epic), Lamb Of Gods’ latest recording, hit #8 Billboard debut first week of release while selling a staggering 110,000 records their first month of its release.

Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall), heads back into the studio with Shadows Fall to start working on new material for their first major label release on Atlantic Records. Award winning drummer, Jason Bittner was recently named #3 Metal Drummer in Modern Drummer Magazine’s 2006 Poll. #1 Metal Drummer in Modern Drummer Magazine’s readers poll; and was the #2 Metal Drummer in Drum! On the cusp of its release - is Jason Bittners first ever drum transcription book- titled ”Drumming Through The Shadows.”

Rannen Bozzio (Stasis) is hard at work on a new album with guitarist James Lambrecht, while looking to add some new members to the band. Raanen and James will be playing several gigs as a duet in Austin, Texas, and Raanenwill also be part of a duet called Aliens, who will be playing shows in New York.

Jeremy Colson (Steve Vai, Marty Friedman) will be hitting the road once again on the G3 tour in Australia at the end of November. He’ll be playing a
benefit show with Steve Vai and Joe Satriani at the House of Blues in Hollywood, CA on September 30. Jeremy will also be picking up drumming
duties for Circus Diablo, feat. Brett Scallions of Fuel,in February and March.

Justin Foley (Killswitch Engage) and the rest of the boys from KsE are putting the finishing touches on their highly-anticipated 3rd album, entitled As Daylight Dies. In preparation for the album’s November 21 release date, the band will be touring Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii in October and headlining a US tour in November and December.

Michael Justian (Unearth) is keeping busy headlining the Hot Topic, Music Choice sponsored Sanctity of Brothers tour With Bleeding Through, Terror, Through The Eyes of The Dead and Animosity. Unearths’ newest, III In The Of Fire” (Metal Blade Records) scanned 50,000 and debuted their first week at #35 on the US Billboard Top 200, selling 22,000 copies. The record reached #196 on the UK top 250 Album Chart (combined), #86 in Germany, and #49 in Canada. Unearths’ 2004 Release “The Oncoming Storm” scanned 160,000 copies. On October 15 the band will find themselves in Tokyo playing the Main stage as part of Loud Park, a Japanese festival featuring Slayer, Megadeth, Children of Bodom, Lamb of God, In Flames, Dio, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, Mastodon, As I Lay Dying and many more Following Loud Park in Japan, Unearth will head to Australia for a sold out tour with Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage. In November, Unearth will head to Europe as main support on the Hatebreed headline tour.

Jordan Mancino (As I Lay Dying)…… As I Lay Dying's latest album, Shadows Are Security has scanned over 230,000 copies and their latest debuted #35 on the Billboard Top 200 it’s first week. As I Lay Dying is presently writing their 3rd album, for Metal Blade records. The band will be heading to Europe as main support for Bullet For My Valentine in October/November 2006.

Joe Nunez (Soulfly) is currently headlining with Full Blown Chaos, Incite, and Wicked Wisdom in support through the beginning of October. Following that, Soulfly becomes part of the international Gigantour lineup and will do several shows in Australia at the end of the month. Joe is also looking forward to a Christmas Day show in India. Be sure to pick up Joe’s new Uni-Badge drum head protector, due out soon.

Chris Pennie (Dillinger Escape Plan) just finished a summer tour with AFI and Coheed and Cambria, and the band is already planning their next record, with a tentative release date of Summer ’07. In the meantime, Chris will be playing and teaching at drum clinics later this fall, while keeping loose
with Dillinger guitarist Ben Weiman at improv-style shows throughout New York. Also, Chris is sharing drumming duties on the new Idiot Pilot album with Plus 44’s Travis Barker, which is out NOW on Reprise Records.

Derek Roddy (Blotted Science), after splitting with Blotted Science inAugust, is going on a clinic tour for Sonar Drums in beginning of October.
He’ll be playing select dates in California. Derek is also releasing the first extreme-metal drum notation book, Evolution of the Blast Beat: Life and Blood of Extreme Metal Drumming, which will be out by January. One of Derek’s two side projects, Serpents Rise, will be recording early next year,while the other, Traumedy, has already posted some new tracks on their website.

Tom Taitano (Totalist) and the rest of the band are looking to get more exposure for their independent release, Slave To None, on Magna Carta Records. The band will be playing shows in their home state of Washington.

Kenneth Schalk (Candiria) Drum Nation Volume 3 might be your last chance to hear the talents of former Candiria drummer. Kenneth Schalk is one of the most impressively creative and diverse drummers ever to sit behind a kit. After a split with the band in August, Kenneth moved to the West Coast to take a break from the music business.
